The Association held a flag-raising ceremony for the China Hong Kong Dodgeball Youth Team at Po Leung Kuk Wong Chi Ho (Tin Sam Valley) Primary School.

The ceremony was officiated by Mr. Zhu Jianping, Director of the Sports Division of the Publicity, Culture and Sports Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region; and other guests of honor included Mr. Bi Jinlong, Principal of Po Leung Kuk Wong Chi Hao (Tin Sam Valley) Primary School, Mr. Lin Zehui, co-elected member of the Southern District Council, member of the Southern District East Division and founder of the Good Times Charity Foundation, and Mr. Fang Gang, Secretary-General of the Hong Kong Lacrosse Association of China.

The Hong Kong Dodgeball Team of China travelled to Graz, Austria to participate in the 10th World Dodgeball Championship 2024. This World Championship has the largest number of participating countries and regions in history. The women's team defeated Australia to win the bronze medal, the men's team defeated Britain to get fifth place, and the mixed team lost to Australia to get fourth place.

The ceremony was officiated by Mr Zhu Jianping, Director of the Sports Division, Publicity, Culture and Sports Department, Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. We were honored to receive flowers and congratulations from Mr. Yu Kwok-leung, JP, Chairman of the Table Tennis Association of Hong Kong, China; and we also invited Dr. Wong Wai-kwong, Chairman of the Clear Water Bay Country Club, Mr. Lee Chik-yuen, Vice Chairman of the Cycling Association of Hong Kong, China, Mr. Lam Chak-fai, Co-opted Member of the Southern District Council, Mr. Alan Chan, Executive Director and Chief Investment Officer of the Hong Kong and China Gas Board, and other honorary guests to attend the ceremony.

The 2021 Hong Kong Primary and Secondary School Dodgeball Championships will be held at Lok Sin Tong Wong Chung Ming Secondary School on December 18, 19, 27 and 28. A total of 57 teams and nearly 700 players participated.

The entire event is divided into men's, women's and mixed groups, and there are 4 age groups, namely U9, U12, U16, and U21. There are a total of 9 groups available for participation in this year's event. There were 52 teams and more than 600 players participated in the first competition.

Funded by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, all funded activities of the first phase of the "Pilot Scheme for Funding Emerging Sports Activities" have been successfully completed. The second phase of funding activities will be launched in the summer of 2023.

2022 Hong Kong Primary and Secondary School Dodgeball Championship - There are 5 categories in the secondary school category, with 47 participating teams. A total of 564 secondary school dodgers competed for awards in cup and plate competitions. The competition was honored to be held in Sha Tin Methodist Secondary School, and the principal of Sha Tin Methodist Secondary School, Zhang Cuiyi, the president of the Hong Kong Dodge Ball Association, Mr. Brian Li, the founder of the Hong Kong Emerging Sports Association, Mr. Li Guangye, and the Hong Kong Dodge Ball Association were invited. And Mr. Lun Ziru, the training director, and Mr. Xu Qing, the executive committee representative of the Hong Kong Dodgeball Association, served as the award presenters. Once again, we would like to pay tribute to all the winning teams and players!

The Association sent 3 teams of 32 athletes to Edmonton, Canada, to compete in the men's, women's and mixed groups.

A total of 80 teams with more than 700 athletes participated in the entire event. The results of the event were satisfactory. Hong Kong teams in all groups achieved excellent results, and they have returned to the top three teams in the world since 2014!
